“Failure to Launch” Syndrome
“Failure to Launch” syndrome refers to young adults who have struggled or failed to transition into adulthood.
Young adults who are struggling to launch into society may still live at home and spend a significant amount of time on playing video games or on social media with difficulty maintaining employment or completing school tasks. Other symptoms may also include a lack of motivation, goals, or confidence as well as experience a sense of entitle or failure to assume adult responsibilities.
