About

In her dissertation entitled “Bonding and Psychosocial Adjustment of Youth in Foster Care”, she examined relationship dynamics between foster parents and foster youth.  This led to Dr. Poliard's second publication entitled "Bonding With Adolescents in Foster Care: Perspectives of Foster Parents".

As a certified PREPARE-ENRICH facilitator, Dr. Poliard provides pre-engaged or engaged couples with healthy tools to utilize in their marriage as well as further improve the relationships of married couples.
